Beginning

Pyry here, hello.

For the past three years I´ve been studying audiovisual communications at Hyria, Riihimäki. This job learning is going to be the last task before graduating. For the next month you are going to be reading my blog about the job learning trip to Portugal, Barcelos and hopefully hear the passion of an eighteen year old photography student. In this blog I will include photos that will be taken along the way. Without any further ado, let the misspellings beging.

24.4  Wednesday

Day. 1 Beginning

The day started off with an alarm at 3:30 am, inhuman time to wake up if you ask me. I had finished packing my stuff the night before (exactly two hours before waking up) so we could leave home quickly. The journey had began. I was sitting in my mum´s car, tired and barely awake even though it had been already an hour from waking up. I wasn't really feeling too nervous even though this was my first time travelling abroad alone. Excitement was building up.

At the airport. My luggage is weighting so much from all the camera equipment that my hand is hurting already, even before the security check. More specifically about the equipment, I´m bringing my Nikon d5200, Sigma 24-70mm 2.8f- and a Nikkor 70-300 4.5 lens. Chocolate for the Portuguese CHECK, standing in the right boarding line CHECK.

The 4,5 hour flight goes by really fast thanks to a new book I was reading. The flight landed on time and it was time for a lunch brake at the Lisbon airport. So many people, so many different nationalities. With the power of pizza hut, and a 2,5 hour break I finally get on the connecting flight.

Porto! I´ts raining outside and the baggage carousel    will eventually spin the right suitcase for me. Short        moments pass and I´m meeting with Fernando,  nice interaction goes on all the way to the apartment at Barcelos. Little exhausted from the trip, but happy that all went just as planned. The long, long day ends with a lightning storm just over the city.
